George K. Howell
Chairman, CEO & Cofounder
George K. Howell is a journalist, entrepreneur, and innovator interested in the intersection of trust, technology, and the human experience. Known globally as the former anchor of CNN Newsroom with George Howell - broadcast live to more than 260 million households across 200+ countries - he spent over two decades reporting from the front lines of some of the world's most defining events. Guided by that experience, Howell developed the foundational concept for Baseline Media - a technology platform designed to bring journalistic rigor into the age of artificial intelligence. His work now centers on building systems that separate signal from noise, helping organizations and audiences alike navigate an increasingly complex information landscape with speed, clarity, and credibility.
Stephen Schenck
President, COO & Cofounder
Stephen Schenck has more than 20+ years of media analytics, consulting and public relations experience in the private, non-profit and public sectors. He has held international leadership roles in New York and Europe, including with The Nielsen Company, where he consulted global brands on social media listening and analytics best practices. Stephen brings an extensive background defining & delivering high impact strategic digital transformation and marketing initiatives for global brands and international organizations, including managing dispersed, diverse teams and cross-functional, executive-level stakeholders.
Khristian A. Howell
CBO & Cofounder
Khristian A. Howell brings a strong vision to Baseline through messaging and in business leadership. A nationally recognized designer, author and entrepreneur, she leveraged her Journalism degree from the Peabody School of the University of Georgia to not only become a sought after contributor for many elite publications, but to also create compelling communication for her brands and clients. Khristian has been featured in numerous national publications and worked with top retailers and manufacturers.
Reid Patrick
CTO & Cofounder
Reid Patrick is the Chief Technology Officer of Baseline, an AI news and decision-intelligence platform. A 15-year Microsoft veteran and 9-time Azure MVP Alumni, he brings over 30 years of building software and internet infrastructure at scale. Most recently his work has centered on AI, designing and building production AI applications for banks, professional sports leagues, and Ivy League universities. A published author and longtime conference speaker, Reid has shared his expertise at events including Microsoft Ignite and the Azure AI Conference.
Matthew A. Gray
Executive Vice President, AI
Matthew A. Gray is a software and systems engineer with more than 25 years of experience across defense, financial technology and applied artificial intelligence - from real-time embedded and signal-processing systems for government and defense programs to cloud and data platforms for financial services. He is the founder of Hat Boy Software, a consultancy he has led for over a decade. A Microsoft-certified Azure AI Engineer, he has architected and deployed enterprise AI platforms for an Ivy League research university, a regional bank holding company and a professional sports league. As Executive Vice President of AI at Baseline, he leads the artificial intelligence behind the company's intelligence platform.
Daisy Heibel
Principal Executive Coordinator
Daisy Heibel is the Principal Executive Coordinator at Baseline, where she supports executive leadership and builds the operational systems that keep the organization aligned and moving with precision. Her previous work includes founding Heibel Management Group, a virtual assistant agency, where she led business operations, oversaw complex client workflows, and developed scalable structures for professionals and small organizations seeking clarity in their daily operations. Heibel brings a broad background in business management, executive coordination, and organizational problem-solving to her role at Baseline. Her experience spans leadership support, team oversight, project management, and the design of processes that streamline work across diverse environments. At Baseline, she applies this foundation to strengthen internal coordination, organize strategic priorities, and support the company’s mission to bring rigor, trust, and clarity into the age of artificial intelligence.
